I've de-cluttered and tided and cleaned and now I want to cheer the place up.

I have just ordered a new.......... door mat!!!

I have the taxidermy swan accent crown too! I have the purple one above my bed. I am so tempted to get a matching pair!!!!

A gorgeous plant from IKEA. Not sure what it's called. Dark green leaves with red saucerlike flowers and yellow stamens. It's so lovely on the kitchen table.

I've also got a few frames that I've been using to put pictures in and getting those up on the walls this weekend.

New plastic baskets for the bathroom. Exciting times here in the Tea household.

I bought a couple of photo frames. I've been looking for some nice ones for ages --but didn't realise just how fussy I am. I keep going back in the hope they have some more of the same design but no luck yet.

But I did take two posters in to be framed. One is a 1970s David Bowie gig poster, the other is one featuring a line from one of my favourite OCS songs. Looking forward to picking them up next week.

I'm looking for a nice sea scene I can frame, something natural, just sea and beach, but I can't find quite the right one. There was a lovely picture in a holiday cottage this summer and since then I've been looking for something similar.

Last home thing I bought was a tiered stand for the bathroom for small bottles, soaps etc. Not pretty but practical.

Last Pretty thing I bought was a glass cylinder hurricane lamp , amber glass with black tree patterns , I put an LED candle in it (safer than flame ) for the coffee table
