... I hate it! Always feels greasy, never dries and flips in the dishwasher and ends up full of horrible water. I have at least two sink fills every day from all the lunchboxes... How do you wash yours???

With washing up liquid and a sponge? It doesn’t take that much time to swill out and rinse. Better than dishwasher that makes it go yellow.

I've switched to glass dishes/ glasses for things kept in the fridge. I hand wash lunch stuff as it usually isn't that dirty, and have a few containers from take aways that I reuse for meals in the freezer - they go on the top rack, positioned so they don't flip - wedged against cups etc.

The small Nutella glass containers with the white lid are fab for small amounts of food/ liquid in the fridge, take little room in the dishwasher and double up as glasses

I wash my lunch box in the sink because I don't have a dishwasher. I agree with the PP who suggested glass as an alternative - Ikea have a great range of glass containers with either glass, bamboo or silicone lids for storing and reheating leftovers. They are better for the environment, last longer than plastic and don't stain when you store tomato based stuff in them.
