Good coffee machine

I am on a hunt for a new coffee machine.

i recently bought a nespresso latisima machine. After a week or so its started making lukewarm coffee and smaller cups so i plan to return it.

any suggestions on what to go for - i am thinking maybe a bean to cup machine might be an idea.

For cheap, really good coffee you can't go wrong with an aeropress and a grinder. It's a bit more hassle than a pod machine but the resulting coffee is worth it. It's compact and doesn't need electricity so you can take it on holiday, camping etc.

After having been through a few coffee machines (never bean to cup though) I haven't looked back with an aero press and grinder either! Plus much more environmentally friendly than pods. I keep a cafetière for if I need to make coffee for a larger group, but day to day the aeropress is fab.

We use the Aeropress on holidays, but have a Gaggia Bean to Cup bought with Tesco vouchers. Fab.

The airopress makes good coffee but I can't be doing with the faff. Ditto cafetière, although both are great for camping. A good filter machine is the best for us

I bought an Aeropress last Christmas, six months on and it's rarely used as it's too much of a faff.
