I can't tell if this is a serious post, if it is then I'm a bit worried for you. Are you ok?

Canshopwillshop · 15/02/2019 23:17

😂

ChakiraChakra · 15/02/2019 23:20

Yes, people die all the time of food that's been cooked too hot Hmm

(I'm JOKING OP. You'll be fine. Obviously.)

ChakiraChakra · 15/02/2019 23:23

Between this and the "Smelly Microwave!!!! Please Help!!!!" Thread I can only assume you bought too much punctuation at the app store and are trying to get rid of some?

Redglitter · 15/02/2019 23:23

When I intially read this I pictured a can of soup ( as in the soup still in the can) in boiling water

😂😂😂 Me too

Coolaschmoola · 15/02/2019 23:26

"...tastes less tomatoey"

Nope, all in your head.

Boiling CONCENTRATES flavour, it won't reduce it.

Hmm
QuestionableMouse · 15/02/2019 23:32

It's usually because most soups have some kind of thickening agent in them that may break (stop working) if they're heated past a certain point. It won't hurt you but your soup might be a bit more watery.

40andSporty · 15/02/2019 23:35

Thank u for the sensible replies and F the haters, as DD would say. The thickening agent sounds like a good explanation thank you!!! Feels lovely to learn something new

viques · 15/02/2019 23:42

I expect it will enhance the devil spit flavour.

Can't stand Heinz tomato snot, I mean soup.....

My gran used to heat tins like that. We used to chuckle but genius really. You only need one pot and can cook your soup and custard at the same time.

mackerella · 16/02/2019 00:18

Have you name changed, OP? Confused

40andSporty · 16/02/2019 00:24

Why would you want soup and custard at the same time?? And yes I've made my name more fun

40andSporty · 16/02/2019 00:24

Sorry I'm new to this I'm just looking to learn new things!!

YouBumder · 16/02/2019 00:41

She used to maybe be heating up a tin of custard for me and soup for herself. Or something like a tin of spaghetti hoops and a tin of hot dogs. Ah gran lunches. Grin

Me three! Although I went a step further and thought the post would be asking for help clearing up the mess after the can exploded... Grin
(Glad I was wrong, as that would have been really dangerous!)

Bowerbird5 · 16/02/2019 08:03

I thought the same thing poppins.
That the kitchen had been splatted by boiling soup, black pan boiled dry and OP needed help to cleaned blackened pan and where to start ceiling, cupboards or floor. I did think she had taken the lid of though.

Theimpossiblegirl · 16/02/2019 14:14

I was joking... Wink
