Cleaning cotton hall runners

Hi there,

I have these hall runners and they're looking a little tired despite hoovering. Any idea how to clean them other than dry cleaning?

I thought I'd responded to you on this OP, but it mustn't have posted.

They may shrink a bit, but you could try a cool wash in one of the big machines at a launderette. Measure them before you wash them and try to ease them back to the correct size before air drying. You might have to do this more than once - so check again when they are just damp. I took a big cotton rug to the launderette and it shrank a bit but was so much more pleasant clean!

I would either spot clean them all over or wash them.
If you wash them there is a risk of the colours running.

I am running my industry named rugler and rugler is the exporter of handmade rugs and carpets.

Following tips would be useful :

Natural-fiber runners other than cotton should be cleaned with dry methods and spot-treated only if necessary. Brush stains or spots with a stiff-bristled brush to remove as much of the foreign matter as possible. Indoor/outdoor runners may be machine-washable; check for a care tag or label on the reverse side
