It's that time again...... hoover on its last legs so I'm looking to buy a new one.
My last one was a Hoover upright. I've been looking into a cordless one, however, I live in a 3 storey townhouse, 4 beds and lots of rooms/stairs/hallways, so I'm not sure the battery would last a full house hoover.
I have 4 messy kids and an equally messy OH..... oh, and a husky (for those that don't know about their coats, they fully blow it twice a year. It's like shearing a sheep indoors 😫)
Me and my DD's all seem to also leave our hair everywhere, literally.... we shed hair like husky's too, only constantly 😂
I need good power/suction. Not too fussed about the noise. I want something that will make stair cleaning easier, possible 'lift away' option so I'm not knackered lugging it up the stairs as much. I'm tempted by a Shark or a Dyson.......
I struggle with some reviews as as soon as I see a negative, I'm instantly put off....
So..... what's the best hoover for me?.....

@SuziQ10 I have exactly the same issue with my cordless Dyson. Any longish human hairs get tangled up in the brush head and I'm constantly having to cut them out. I've noticed it's lost a lot of suction in the 18 months since I bought it too. Are you replacing yours? I don't know what to buy next, don't want another expensive mistake...

So I emailed Shark about my broken vacuum, they replied and said best to phone. Anyway, today I received the replacement part I needed for just the cost of postage same as youwillbepk. So I’m a definite Shark recommender as well!

Another vote for shark lift away.

We have 2 dogs and it's amazing!
