Clothes airer- am I too demanding?!

Our clothes airer has bitten the dust and I just can't seem to see one I want to replace it.

My criteria are:
-as much hanging space as possible for the floor area it takes up. So a decent tower shape I think.
-wide enough to dry men's XL T-shirts without folding/creasing (at least 65cm)
-sturdy enough that rails don't break off when you put clothes on
-easy to put up and down without losing a finger! And never randomly collapsing on you.
-must be floor standing (would love a ceiling mounted one but nowhere for it to go).

They all seem to be so flimsy and take up so much space. Our current one is a Minky tower one and that seems the best of a bad bunch but I've broken endless rails on it and regularly get my fingers stuck under collapsing sections.

Any good options out there?

I've got this and it's still going strong after 10 years. Great amount of space for hanging and I put the sides up higher to dry duvet covers etc. Mine is silver but I presume it's the same quality now. Can't believe it's only a tenner!

Hmm, it's only 59cm wide but I would hang shirts etc on hangers off it to dry.

Thank you both, might need to have a trip to Ikea to have a browse.

My airer has pull out hanging bits on each top corner. I always hang t -shirts and shirts on hangers there. About 4 each corner. I bought it in argos. I think its minky.

I have an Addis collapsable one with adjustable width. It can take a load of washing if carefully arranged

Mines a Lakeland one. It's fab.

My sister has a heated Lakeland one which she raves about- it seems sturdy enough to withstand a nuclear blast.

It’s dead cheap to run as well.
