New year, new bullet journal?

BrassicaBabe · 19/11/2018 13:56

I think this is where the bullet journal-ers hang out Smile

So I'm about half way through my current bullet journal. Should I start a new journal for 2019 or keep going in my current one?

Can't decide! Thanks Grin

Nooooo. Keep going in your current one I think. I like the fact that I can fit about 2-3 years in one small book and I am lazy and so cba transferring stuff like meal planners from one book to another

chloechloe · 20/11/2018 13:09

I’m going to keep mine, it’s probably about a third full.

I had high hopes it would stop me putting off all the tasks I don’t like doing but I just seem to transfer them from one month to the next!

I do love the flexibility of it though and having everything in one place.

Waspnest · 20/11/2018 14:00

Ha yes it doesn't stop me putting off tasks but it does mean I don't forget things that absolutely have to be done. And it means I don't have little bits of paper to lose.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 20/11/2018 21:31

I've come to the end of mine and will start a new one next month. I like that everything is in one place and I at least know what I've got to do.

BrassicaBabe · 24/11/2018 15:13

Well, I didn't expect that Grin Id even bought my new bujo. But I bow to the MN opinion and I've now written up new NY Jan to April in my current one thanks Smile

Obviously, New Year means all things will going to be New!Grin

Meet0nTheIedge · 28/11/2018 07:24

I've got about 50 pages left in mine, I'm undecided. I'd like to fill it but I have a few lists that are for the year (books read, gardening diary, crochet projects completed etc) and it seems sensible to start a new book for them at NY.

Bowerbird5 · 28/11/2018 07:57

I started one where you can pull the pages out and put new in. So I can keep the lists of Flylady stuff and any other stuff I need and turf out the rest. I found it in Staples. I don’t keep up with it so it has splurges of writing as I’m not disciplined to do it every day but it has reminders about decluttering etc.
I don’t meal plan when I am on my own other than quick tea on Mondays and fish on Fridays. I just eat what a fancy which could be a small roast or a boiled egg!😁

Meet0nTheIedge · 28/11/2018 10:13

I don't have any Flylady stuff in mine Blush

DerelictWreck · 28/11/2018 10:27

YEY BuJo people!

I've only just started and wondered where you were all hanging out! I use mine for work and personal and wondering what collections you all use?

Waspnest · 28/11/2018 13:49

I never got beyond 'keep your sink shiny' with Flylady Blush and now my sink is a composite one it will never be shiny! (But I do tend to have a list of housework to do everyday just for the joy of list ticking.)

Meet0nTheIedge · 28/11/2018 15:20

I have no excuse, I've been posting on the flylady threads for years, but am still not fully following the system.

DerelictWreck · 28/11/2018 15:36

What's the flylady system?

Waspnest · 28/11/2018 16:53

It's a website where you learn to become ruthlessly efficient at housework and I think there's usually a thread every month on MN about it.
