Would like some advice please,i wash clothes in washing machine and when finished they still feel "sticky" like there is too much wash powder still on them,so i have to put them back in on a rinse cycle no powder just turn dial and rinse ,it usually helps but takes me forever to wash clothes having to put it on twice each wash!Me and son have sensitive skin so cant wear then if there is too much powder left on them.what do i do any suggestions?
have tried changing the amount of powder,
changed from liquid to powder
done a maintanance wash on hottest cycle still there
machine is not that old but at this rate i am going to burn it out!!!!...........lol
Please please help any ideas??

try wash balls of some description- i got some from kleeneze that look like little hedgehogs, they work brilliantly even on dirty nappies!

Do you use conditioner? It might be this. I've recently started using the non-bio 'small and mighty' (persil?) one for dd's washes. I liked the idea that it uses less liquid. More expensive than other stuff, though I got mine on a introductory offer.

surcare is what i use and there is no residue on the clothes

erm was going to suggest 90 degree wash (with no clothes in) but i see you've done that already

Have you tried adding distilled vinegar (sarsons you can buy it at sainsburys) add a cup full to your maintence wash that might get added gunk out

Or check your filter ? It might need cleaning out, also the powder dispenser could need a thorough clean

Or ditch the powder altogether and try eco balls/soap nuts (lakeland sell them)
If not :
I tend to use half the amount of powder suggested (unless clothes are badly stained)

Sorry if this is doubling up on what you've done already
