Zoflora in car screen wash - yes or no?

Just used car which has been sitting out for 2 weeks while we have been on holiday, washed windscreen and YUCK!
Wash (and so car) stinks of rotten eggs simmered in stagnant pond water!

Have washed screen continuously to empty reservoir and filled with clean water and plenty of screen wash.
But thinking should I add a bleach or zoflora solution instead to reservoir to sanitise it?
Not sure what effect such a solution would have once it's sprayed all over my car bodywork...

I wouldn’t use bleach. I seem to remember that you’re not supposed to use it on chrome plated fittings- something to do will breaking the bond between different materials, but I am not a chemist and was told that by a bathroom salesman, so it might be rubbish. I think it would leave smears, anyway. Zoflora might be okay. I use it for cleaning glass and it doesn’t leave a residue. I would be inclined to clean the empty reservoir out with the zoflora, then wash it out and refill it.

absolutely not zoflora or bleach, you will wreck the paintwork and it is also dangerous for anyone nearby when you wash the screen.

we had a gunged screen wash - the hot weather breeds the algae. What you want is the stuff that caravanners use to clean out their water systems, can't off hand remember what it is called but a suitable real shop will have it. Screenwashes also have a filter system, if your car isn't badly designed (most are) you may be able to get it out and clean it. Google it for your car make and model, there is often a video on youtube!

Milton fluid ?? Although that’s bleach too

I'd be tempted to add a good dose of vinegar.

I have had this problem. Just add a Steredent tablet, the ones you use to sterilise false teeth. Brilliant result and a nice fresh smell when you use the screen washer.
