Need cleaning help please - is my rota rubbish?

Hi all, I need some cleaning help please, thanks in advance to anyone who reads through this!

Background: We moved from a small flat into a 3 bed terraced around 3 months ago. It's me (on mat leave, usual work is 3 days a week plus 1-2 12 hour shifts or set of nights every few weeks), husband (works 9-5 Mon-Fri), 2 children (aged 2.5 and 6 weeks) and cat. Since moving and having our new baby I'm really struggling to get into a routine and keep on top of the house as there's so much more if it than we used to have! I don't like cleaning and we are generally quite disorganised/untidy people, but I really like a clean and tidy house! I can't afford a cleaner, and basically want to do the bare minimum of cleaning and tidying that will allow me to have a house that is hygienic for my children and I don't mind people popping in unexpectedly. I've devised the cleaning rota below, and would be so grateful if you lot could have a look and let me know if it's totally rubbish and I should change it up completely, or if there are tweaks to be made? Is there something on there I could do even less, or something that really needs to be done more often? Do I need to add anything in, or can something be taken out?

The rota:
DAILY JOBS
Me Wipe down dining table
Me Wipe down coffee table
Me Tidy toys
H Wash dishes
H Wipe down kitchen sides
H Sweep kitchen/dining area
H Sweep around litter tray
H Empty litter tray

WEEKLY JOBS

Me Hoover upstairs

H Mop kitchen floor
H Mop bathroom floor
H Mop hall and living room floor
Me and H Go through and file papers and post
Me and H Meal plan

MONTHLY JOBS
Me Dust living room surfaces
Me Dust downstairs window sills
Me Dust bedroom surfaces inc. window sills
Me Dust skirting boards
H Clean out fridge
H Clean bin
H Clean cat litter tray
H Check smoke detector batteries and CO detector batteries
Me and H Change bedding

EVERY QUARTER
Me Clean out washing machine
Me Dust blinds
Me Clean windows
Me Wipe out inside toy storage
H Clean out ovens and extractor
Me and H Hoover and flip mattress

ANNUAL JOBS
Me Clean out kitchen cupboards/drawers
Me Clean out store cupboard

Thanks for any thoughts/comments :)

I would be ill if I only dusted once a month but then I have asthma and allergies.
Hoovering needs to be done every few days (if not everyday really) if you have a pet

Everyone and every home is different. I've lived in some houses where the dust was much worse than others. And the type of furniture you have can make a difference too on how much dust shows.

I think your rota is a great starting point. Try it with the option of amending it once you've got an idea of whether or not the frequency you have planned is enough to keep on top of things.

Hi, thanks both. I'm going to try doing the dusting once a month and see if it needs it more, we've not lived here for long so I know I might need to tweak things as I get to know the house better. I could probably do with hoovering some areas more often than once a week so I'll take that on board. Thanks again :)
