A good place to buy non-expensive but good rugs?

I need a rug for my child's nursery and have quite a large space to cover. I don't want something shoddy and awful but I can't afford £££. Any recommendations as to where to look? Tia :-)

If you're in London then there are some excellent ones in Edmonton green market for around £20-30

Irugs, I've bought a few off rhem, best prices I can find and great quality. They also do oversized ones, which is how I found them, as was looking for something over 16x16 feet.

IKEA. They do some really nice children's rugs that don't cost much (they do also do very expensive rugs so be aware if you're looking in store)

Not in London unfortunately and nowhere near an Ikea, but irugs looks very promising! Thanks

Dunelm? Wilko?
I'd get something washable in a nursery.

Homesense have some fantastic ones. I got a 4 x 6 one for £40 yesterday and 2 smaller ones for just £8 each. Look great.

Another vote for irugs. I've bought 3 from them. Great price and quality and they always seem to add a discount at checkout!

hello, I am new here, my name is Patricia from Glasgow.
Can anyone tell how much ratio of bleach to water I should put in my 20 litre bucket to whiten clothes eg white underwear, white shirts etc. I bought a bucket that is used for bleaching but don't know how much water you bleach and whether to use hot or cold water?

ichbineinstasumer · 07/08/2018 22:11

if you can get to Trago Mills (Southwest) they have a fantastic collection, including some really nice quality rugs from Nepal, Pakistan, India. I never go anywhere else for rugs.

Bluewidow · 07/08/2018 22:12

Dunelm every time.

H&M home and Urban Outfitters.

WolfendenP you need to start a thread in the housekeeping topic with your question.

8FencingWire · 08/08/2018 08:28

wolfenden, never put hot water over bleach, the gases emanated are highly toxic.
I have no idea how much bleach to add, sorry, I just pour till I think it’s sort of enough (sorry, not helpful)
