Hi all,

I struggle with organization, particularly when it comes to my home (decluttering, tidying etc) but also with my work schedule, overall schedule, paperwork etc. Consequently I constantly feel frazzled, busy, and living in an environment that's not calming.

At times I try different things and I have many ideas & have read many books, they all work up to a point but then my efforts collapse, either because of sheer exhaustion or because I do too much at a time.

Is anyone interested in creating a small group where we can offer peer-support / peer coaching for each other, with setting and implementing organization goals? This could transfer to a small whatsapp group if anyone's interested, but that would involve a few people only.

Let me know your thoughts.

Just to add: I am reading and enjoying the book "It's hard to make a difference when you can't find your keys"

It recommends peer support for organisation efforts, hence my post.

What I also appreciate with this book is that it doesn't only focus on decluttering, but takes a much wider approach to an organised calmer life.

I hear you OP, I only through phases of being organised at work (I’m really on top of my duties, do things as soon as they need done) BUT to the detriment of my own development. I’m behind with some training I need to do, feel like I could expand my role but never have time to make a development plan etc.

My home organisation is variable, DH is a hoarder and constantly bringing more stuff into the house. He can’t resist a bargain, even if we don’t need it so the kitchen table is a dumping ground for various things that have no place!

So far this year I’ve managed to incur a £100 fine for not filing my tax on time (I lost the paper with my log on details and it took a week to get new ones by post by which time I missed the deadline) and also missed a hospital appointment because I wrote it on the wrong day on the calendar. I'd be interested. Everyone seems to just dump things. I am currently highly irritated by a sweetie bag being on the bedroom floor because DH couldn't be bothered emptying the bin or even taking it downstairs to the empty bin there! I am trying to use the summer holiday as a time to build new habits and to minimise belongings.
