I am SO messy. It's unbelievable. I can destroy a room without even noticing. I have a real problem.

I spend quite a bit of time doing housework, but you wouldn't know it if you walked in my house. I know i could spend far less time and have much nicer house.

I've read a lot about adult adhd recently and it's helped me think about the stuff i really struggle with. Im incredibly inconsistent and can't stick to basic routines.

Im going to try to build up one habit at a time. Like flylady, but ill decide the habits. I will only add a new habit when i feel ive really nailed my last one.

I'm going to start with wiping down kitchen properly, doing washing up and dishwasher on before bed. That feels like a huge thing for me. I feel so scuzzy that i don't do it at the moment. I've done a couple of times recently and its blown my mind in the morning ConfusedBlush

Wish me luck xx this could take years to establish!

Thats a good starting point.

Ive had the same resolve as well. I'm not too bad but its hard to keep on top of everything.

For the last week ive had all bags ready the night before and lunches prepped. Our morning routine was so rushed and I was shouting way too much. Having all these things done has made the mornings so much easier.

Morning stuff ready is life changing, and a week is a good run. Hope you keep it up this week.

Dh and i keep on top of sorting morning stuff about 80% of time. The other 20% is just awful. It's always when we exhausted and have given up!

Not a wealth of replies but it sounds like you're working it out.

My mantra, which my family don't always subscribe to, is a place for everything and everything in its place.
