Cleaning a buggy

Not sure if this comes under housekeeping but can anyone tell me the best way to clean my daughter's buggy? It's a cream and black Silvercross Pop and it's looking v grubby. What is the best way to clean it? I don't want to ruin any water resistance on the buggy or hood so suspect I will have to avoid some products. Any advice? Thank you!

I’m not sure however there is a company that picks up car seats and buggy’s (lends you one if you need it) and cleans them for you. No idea of the name but seen it in here before! They looked amazing!

Wow thanks porkpieandgin! Could actually do with getting her carseat cleaned too after a bout of travel sickness. I mean, I have cleaned it but it would be nice to get it done professionally! I may just have to a Google. Thanks!

I used to just strip down pushchairs and car seat fabrics then chuck in the machine on a handwash setting with a couple of tablespoons of detergent.

Hoods which couldn't be strupped from the frame were unclipped and handwashed in the bath then hosed down with the shower

Anything that can get bunged in the machine goes on a hand wash setting. I wipe the frame with a cloth and diluted zoflora. For any fabric that can't be removed, I use a wet cloth and either washing up liquid or an upholstery cleaner.
