Best essential oils/ blends for cold mist diffuser

I just bought a cold mist diffuser thingy from amazon. Any recommendations for a good essential oil blend? I like spa/ botanical type scents - bergamot, geranium, etc. I'd prefer to buy a ready blended mix, unless anybody has a good recipe they can share?

Neals Yard Womens Balance is fabulous

I like the Tisserand blends. Relax is lovely and I use Head Clear at the office (I have my own) as it's citrus and peppermint so quite stimulating. I also like just Bergamot. Recently I've tried Bergamot & Lemon Grass. Bergamot & orange should go well as in Lady Grey tea.

I bought loads of essential oils and make random mixes up ..no idea what I'm doing

Thanks! I've been looking at the neals yard ones but I'm not near enough anywhere that stocks them to smell in advance. They're not cheap so it's good to hear comments before I spend my money :)
Have you smelt the de stress one too? Thought that looked good, from the ingredients list.

No sorry haven't , I have a mate who is a NY rep , can you search for rep close to you on their website?

I'm thinking of getting the focus one for ds to study Grin

Tisserand mind clear is the only one I have so far - the first one I bought along with the diffuser! I'll try relax too then. I'm planning to mainly use in my office :)
I'll try bergamot on its own too. Thanks!

Thanks again ggirl. I'll ave a search on Fb. I do love neals yard so I might just take a leap and order (pretty obsessed with their mint and bergamot hand cream).

I've got a box of 12 oils that the DC bought me for my birthday to use my diffuser. It's a good basic selection to start with.

I think they were from Amazon. I'll see if I can find them and do a link.

The Fragrant Pharmacy [ on Amazon uk] will give you lots of lovely blends to make.
Neals Yard balance is lovely. Tisserand oils are very good quality.

I have the same set as @OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny bought by my friend for my birthday, I got a book too that I was hoping would help with blends. It does say what goes with what so I'm experimenting although last night I out lemon in with Ylang Ylang and it smelled like bathroom cleaner, nice and fresh but not relaxing!

I do think trial and error works just as well as premixed blends, coincidentally I am hosting a Neal's Yard party on Friday but wouldn't necessarily pay for their oils, they're very pricey compared with elsewhere.

I got a set of about 20 oils and then went on Pinterest for diffuser blend formulas.

I have used a decongestant one which was fab, contained peppermint for headaches. One scent I loved Dh hated (contained Bergamot) so I just experiment.

I think it is better to start making your own as it is only a few drops of oil per bottle that you are wasting if you don't like it. I like citrus blends especially grapefruit but then I use Method Multi-purpose cleaner which is grapefruit so the diffuser just intensifies the scent throughout the house Grin
