I probably use my tumble drier too much because I'm a lazy so and so , but today I put a long sleeved plastic-backed bib in by accident - its turned into a hard plastic lump! I know there's no hope for it now but it wasnt exactly cheap (bloody overpriced MotherCrap) so anyone else done similar or is it just me?

You can pick the plasticcy bit off the back of the bib, and use it as a rather thin fabric bib.

(not that I know this from personal experience of tumble drying plastic bibs of course )

DP once tumble dried a £60 silk Coast top I had
Luckily for him it had only cost me £10 in the sale.
He is now banned from going anywhere near the drier!

What would his punishment have been if you'd paid full price Y0rkshirelass?

Death by hanging, definitely.

My DH washed my linen dress which is dry clean only.............. Arghhhhhhh.

In the end, all of mine went through the thing. It was survival of the fittest, and I now have lots of thin fabric bibs.
