Anyone heard of Enjo e-cloth type things?

I went to an Enjo eco cleaning products demo today, very convincing and I am very excited about the floor cleaning 'system'. Very expensive but made cleaning the floor look actually fun, and I am a lazy housework hater. Apparently it's a bit like Pampered Chef / Tupperware with parties etc.
Has anyone else seen it/tried it?

Buckets - saw it last year at Bosigran Farm! Lots of clucking coming from the kitchen/bathroom as it was demo'd - I was busy watching the footie! General concensus was that it was great.

And do you know you'd be great at selling them actually! Ha, sound like an Enjo rep . Can't be arsed to do any more selling myself, will go back to office temping in the autumn - DH has had enough of me being a SAHM. Quite fun though, no responsibility whatsoever and usually a bunch of flowers when you leave from what I remember pre-kids.
I have ordered a smaller Enjo kit though and will post my adventures with it later.

Yes I LOVE Enjo !!! Bought some 3 yrs back - but no idea where to replenish stocks ! It really is fantastic - I love cleaning without chemicals - it FEELS so much cleaner !

Great stuff but hard to get hold of imo !

WendyWeber · 24/04/2007 21:37

What's the diff between Enjo and any old cheapo e-cloths?

brimfull · 24/04/2007 21:37

link??

scatterbrain · 24/04/2007 21:39

Enjo isn't just e-cloths - there are lots of different fibres - one for kitchen, one for bathroom, a duster, even a heavy duty one for cleaning patios etc. Also do a fab marble paste for heavy duty household cleaning !

FWIW I bougt Tesco microfibres to go with my Enjo fibres !

WendyWeber · 24/04/2007 21:39

You can get 3 cloths for £1.99 at Lidl and they will last at least as long as an Enjo glove at £18.99 (which I just found by googling) - is that it?

scatterbrain · 24/04/2007 21:41

I doubt that - my Enjo fibres have been in reg use for over 3 yrs and still going very srong - my Tesco ecloths are on at least their third incarnation.

WendyWeber · 24/04/2007 21:41

But you only need one (or 2 or 3) of the ordinary ones. I use mine to wash down woodwork, clean the bathroom, scrub floors etc - wash at 90 degrees and then they are good as new - they also make smooth ones for cleaning glass at a similar price.

scatterbrain · 24/04/2007 21:42

Well you stick to your Lidl ones then - I love my Enjo's and I'm not arguing with a stranger about them.
Each to their own eh ?

brimfull · 24/04/2007 21:50

lol at "not arguing with a stranger"

WendyWeber · 24/04/2007 22:32

Nobody on MN ever argues with strangers of course

Buckets - not going down that road either- though think I would be very good at it LOL If anyone wants to come round and demo enjo (i.e. clean for me) would be great!

Has anyone used the E-Cloth mops? as they are rather expensive and does just water really clean your floors?... any advice gratefully received.

JackieNo · 25/04/2007 11:39

I love microfibre cloths - bought this pack from Lakeland, and it has the various types in.

OLIVEBRANCH · 25/04/2007 11:47

Am popping into town this morning and I am undecided about the e-cloth mops and I need to buy something today! Any help would be great before 12:10..Thanks

JackieNo · 25/04/2007 11:55

I've got a microfibre mop (I think from QVC) and I like it a lot. it's quick and easy to use, needs no chemicals (though you can always use them with it if you feel you need to), and works particularly well on laminate, where you don't want to get the floor too wet. Also I love the fact that you can just take the microfibre bit off and chuck it in the washing machine - feels much more hygienic than the traditional sort.

OLIVEBRANCH · 25/04/2007 12:01

Just what I needed to hear I have all laminate floors downstairs so thanks for the feedback and advice.

JackieNo · 25/04/2007 12:09

Doesn't have to be E-cloth (I think that's a particular brand) - might be worth having a bit of a look around to see what's available. Also online.
