Hi ladies. All my family have had a variety of illness's for the past fortnight. I'd like to give my home the most epic clean ever! Could any of you give me any advice on where to start? And where to finish! And what to use? Thanks in advance.

I find it best to tackle each room before moving onto the next. Start at the top of the house and work downwards. Have an empty laundry basket to move things from one room to their rightful room. Antibac all handles and switches, banisters etc. Replace all tooth brushes. Remember to do the outside handles if your doors have them. I forget about these and they are probably the most bacteria prone.
Do it all in 1/2 hour bursts with a tea/5 min rest in between.
I love cleaning.

That's super thank you :)

You're very diligent. We've had a wave of ilness and the most I've managed (above and beyond the usual) is to spray bleach the bathroom.

Make sure you wash bedding on a long 60 degree wash.

I was determined to try and solve the problem. I'm not usually do determined to clean 😂

Many illnesses are viral rather than bacterial so bear that in mind when it comes to cleaning products. Most bacteria is actually harmless.

Bacteria are, not is

You'd be better off using disinfectant than buying an 'antibacterial' product.

Disinfect the loss, anything that someone has been sick in or near, and things which are touched frequently is good (handles, remote controls and lightswitches). Your usual cleaning stuff for everything else.

Hot wash bedding and air mattresses, duvets and pillows. Windows open for as long as you can bear it (depends on temperature/dampness)
