Slow cooker recommendations?

Hi, there are so many slow cookers, my friend has a cuisinart which she loves, but they aren't available any more. The Sage Fast Slow Pro is extremely expensive - does anyone use a pressure cooker these days? Would it become a costly slow cooker? The original is the crock pot, but which one? Lakeland?
Any thoughts? Thank you.

I have 2 (DS used one at uni). One is Also own brand the other is a branded one. They are identical. Size is what matters, get the biggest you can find.

I had a slow cooker for years but rarely used it. I now have an instant pot & use it almost everyday. It has slow cooker function, but I mostly use the pressure cook option. Highly recommended.

Morphy Richards Sear and Stew

Murphy Richards sear and stew here too. The big one. It's great, I love it and use it at least once a week over the winter. It's currently full of Thai green curry waiting to be potted up for the freezer!

Murphy Richards sear and stew here too. I have a little one and a massive one. The big one is great for whole chickens out big matches of bolognaise/chilli/soup etc. I use the little one for gammon joints mainly.

Thank you very much for your feedback. The sear & stew looks brilliant, read the descriptions but can't see if it will work on an induction hob? Have several fab pans that don't work since we moved and now have an induction.

The sear and stew i linked to has a stainless steel bottom.

bruffin · 28/11/2017 11:40

From what i can gather the one i linked should work on induction hob, the other morphy richards sear and stew are not suitable.
