Disposing of a king size duvet

Hi we have a king size duvet that we don’t need - it was for the bed in our Motorhome that we sold. It’s an Ikea duck down and a 2 in 1. It’s clean and in good condition. Local Charity shops don’t take bedding. I I thought of putting it on a local selling page - do people buy 2nd hand duvets?
I’d rather give it away to someone who needs it, has anyone any ideas? I thought of giving it to a homeless charity or a pet charity.

I think those salvation army collection things take bedding, I may be wrong

Or try freecycle

Homeless charities will likely take it.

Tried everywhere with my old duvets, per charities, homeless charities, none would take it. Ended up binning.

Crispbutty · 16/11/2017 00:05

Animal shelters would take it.

I asked thee or four. Only wanted blankets as chewing duvets means bits that could be swallowed? In London.

Crispbutty · 16/11/2017 00:11

Freecycle it.

When I was homeless and moved into my new place I had nothing and no money. I would have been so glad of a duvet then.

Womens refuge?

Thanks for your great suggestions. I’m onto it today
