...clothes, hoovering, kitchens and coming back?
We have a moth treatment company coming this week to treat a clothes moth infestation that we've had for 5 years. We've tried to keep it under control ourselves but finally decided to get in professionals (I wish we'd done it 5 years ago, the amount we've spent on jumpers, traps, sprays etc and the number of holes in our wool carpets).
I need to get everything ready tomorrow and realised tonight that we didn't ask done things we should have done... So if anyone has experience of this then please let me know!
The company we've got have said that the insecticide will kill moths in wool clothes better than any washing, so we should leave them loosely in wardrobes and drawers and they will spray amongst them. He said we didn't need to wash other clothes. However other companies we spoke to and some people on here have said to wash everything - what did your company say, and did it work? If you washed everything, what was your strategy? We don't have a tumble drier so we'd probably have to go to a launderette or bag then wash and dry gradually.
Did they say that you need to hoover well first?
Did they spray the kitchen? is it ok to do so? we occasionally see moths in there
Did your moths come back?
Thank you!
