Want to buy a new one, something really nice. Perhaps one of those filter ones, any ideas?

i had a filter kettle and TBH was very expensive and broke after 3 months ... also factor in that you have to replace the cartridges in them every 4 weeks or so

I bought a cheapo £10 kettle from M & S and it broke after 2 weeks ...

Not being helful am i ... got a russell hobbs one now which boils very fast which is handy

i have spent loads on kettles in the last few years and they keep breaking - maybe i drink too much tea.

i have just spent £12.99 on a stainless steel one from asda and its fine. at least i know if it breaks like the others it wont cost too much to replace.

You need to think about what type of water you have too (hard or soft). I have tried both cheap and expensive kettles, but as we live in a hard water area, they both last the same length of time. I think it might be cheaper to buy a water filter and use that water to fill a normal kettle.
