Recommendations for a really quiet tumble dryer?

Our old one, a zanussi, died two weeks ago and we ordered a new vented tumble dryer from John Lewis. Unfortunately for us, the one we thought we were getting, as shown in their photo, doesn't match the one we were sent. So the 'silent system' AEG tumbler they show in the photo isn't the one that you get. They apologised and will remove and refund us, but how don't know what to get!
Ideally I'm looking for one around 45 decibels, I think. Has anyone bought a tumble dryer recently that is quiet? We would be so grateful for recommendations of what to look at.

Do you need a vented or a condenser dryer? Condensers tend to be louder than vented

We are happy to get either, it's the quietness which is important. Weirdly our lastbine was a condenser, and far quieter than the new vented one.
Has anyone bought one recently they'd recommend?

We put ours in the shed (there's electricity out there) so we don't hear it 😂

We had a Miele once and that was super quiet but way too expensive so the shed option was better when we we buying this time.

Yes, Miele is fantastic. Very expensive but I managed to get mine from the curry's outlet where they sell ever so slightly damaged stock (small scratch or dent) at about 50% of price. I've had mine years now and wouldn't have any other make. Brilliant big door, condenser unit and ultra quiet.

Miele's great, hideously expensive but worth it. I bought ours when DD was born. It has to live in the sitting room next to the sofa but it's so quiet we can watch TV while it's running. Unless there's something in the load with lots of zippers in it, which makes a godawful rattle Hmm

I've got an AEG washer dryer, did a lot of research about noise as in a flat. It's fairly noisy for the the first few mins as it gets going, then very quiet. Can't hear it from other room with doors open.

AEG seem to be a good mid price option.
