Sippy Cups - Algae

Not sure if this is the right forum.

I have noticed there is some algae on the sippy cups that my DD uses, even though I wash them every night.

Any suggestion on how to wash these properly or to prevent alage. They are the hard plastic ones (Tommee Tipee ones)

Thanks

we chuck ours in a seaside bucket with milton in.

Chuck those out and get new ones.
Maybe a rinse in sterilising fluid once a week would prevent it happening again.
Air dry them thoroughly before putting away.
Have a few and use them in rotation so they have plenty of dry time.

i agree with milton. it will get rid of it.... esp if you get in there with a coktail stick or similar

and i wash in dishwasher at 60 to kill germs and then dry them thoroughly. keeps it away

my son's cups regularly get manky looking algae in them despite me washing them everyday and putting them through the dishwasher. I've given up trying to clean them, once they get to that stage I'm afraid I bin them and buy new ones.
