Loft conversion begins October. So I need to...
Empty 15 years of treasures from the loft.
Sort through all the nice baby reminders to see if it's all necessary keepsakes Hmm
Empty boys bedroom which will become hallway.
Empty my bedroom which will become boys bedroom.

And as a bonus, also thought we would clear out girls bedroom, which had massive fitted wardrobes that have just been constantly filled and never emptied for 11 years, just for fun Confused

I can do all this in six weeks right...

DDs bedroom completed, new furniture next week then that's one room down!
Sorted out all the "baby stuff" into a box each of things to keep. Same with school stuff.
Next step, documents. Instead of sorting each year, I filled a box and stored it in the loft. For 15 years! I'm not even known for hoarding, why have I done this?!

Well done. I'm going to do this.

The loft conversion or the sorting?

Just the sorting!

We have a spare room that is about to become a kid's bedroom but we have so much kept in there and elsewhere "just in case" that needs to go.

Go for it!!

I've been doing sorting out. I am fed up of the big pile of junk that is preventing me from getting to my side of the wardrobe so that I can hang up clothes like an adult. Alas I am now in the midst of a nasty allergic reaction to all the dust I've kicked up. It turns out that my mum's obsessive dusting was actually a good idea Confused Contemplating googles and a mask from B&Q!!
