Tell me about it!

Where did you get it?

Do you love it?

What flooring/workbench do you have with it?

oh and also how much did it cost!

I thank you

We have white gloss (Ikea)with light oak worktop, and it is perfect in dark small northfacing room, doesn't show marks just brightens everything up and reflects light. Might be more boring to maintain in a large sunny room, and more hospital-like perhaps. We have one red cupboard door, and oyster cream walls, and glowing terracotta floor, and blue glass extras.

I know this is an old thread and this is my first post. I have been trawling through posts re high gloss kitchens. I have a north facing small kitchen/diningroom and two teenagers and two lhasa apsos. I would love a cream high gloss kitchen with oak worktops and oak flooring but have been put off by the posts saying its constant cleaning/wiping/rubbing. I also like the oak slab kitchens but have no idea of worktops or flooring or tiles but was glad to see swanrivers post. I am a bit more towards just ordering the cream high gloss but I am not a decisive person!!!!

I have white gloss units from Magnet (Neve range with Fiori flowered doors as an accent). They are easy to clean, you just have to wipe them with a microfibre cloth and I'm saying that as a complete housekeeping slattern. I would post a photo, but the place is so untidy. We've got solid cherry wood worksurfaces, s/s appliances and large matt porceline (sp) floor tiles in a medium grey/brown colour.
We went with white gloss as the room is N. facing and can be a bit gloomy, now it looks a lot brighter. I wouldn't however recommend cherry worktops, they are softer than expected, would stick with beech next time as we've had it previously (serial house mover) and it was a lot more robust, oak would probably be fine too.

We have the wickes white gloss kitchen units inherited from previous owners,we are about to fit mirror flecked black granite work tops and am in the middle of laying quartz mirror flecked white tiles. I find they are quite easy to keep clean and I have 5 under 6 children and 2 large dogs.
