Does anyone have one of these? www.somemore.co.uk/heated-electric-clothes-airer.html

I had one a few years ago. Found that it dried only where it touched the clothes. So I had a lovely dry, straight line on what ever item.

You will probably be better off with something like this

The cover is essential though, it keeps the heat in and allows the clothes to dry

Pricey but I'm saving up for one for winter

Thanks both. Sorry I've not replied! I think I may save up for the Lakeland one.

I've got the original one you linked to. It just dries where the clothes are touching the bars.

I fold some items in two and lay them across the top to flip them over now and again if I'm in a rush for something to dry.

So would the Lakeland one do that? I have a tumble dryer for sheets, towels and underwear etc. It's just stuff I obviously can't tumble.

My parents have the Lakeland one and it dries all of the clothes really quickly. If you hang them up in the evening (with the cover) they are dry by morning. My washing used to take about two days to dry in the same house. For me it is worth saving for but I guess it depends how quickly you need things dry/space etc

I've got the Lakeland one.

It does work, but in my warm house it isn't much faster than drying on a regular airer.

In my experience it took 12-24 hours to dry clothes, depending on whether you filled it up, how thick the clothes are. The clothes at the top dry quicker too.

I found it expensive to run too.

In the winter if I put a regular airer next to the radiator it dries just the same if not better.
