Three types of flooring - one solution?

Hi

Have recently moved house from a place that was mostly carpeted to one with linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom, 'proper' wooden flooring in the living room, and laminate in the bedrooms. So I seek the holy grail of one product or device that will quickly and easily clean all three. Does such a thing exist or is this wishful thinking? Any thoughts or suggestions gratefully received. Thank you!

Possibly a Miele cylinder vaccum. I use mine to vacuum laminate flooring and to vacuum carpets. Today I've also used it to vacuum floorboards before new carpet was laid. I know I shouldn't really use it for fine dust like plaster dust etc, but the cylinder canister vac i was using (as recommended by PigletJohn) was on it's last legs.

I've also used the Miele on my bathroom vinyl floor on a lower setting and it's been fine.

I use our Miele on wooden floorboards, carpet and tiles without any probs.
And our cleaner uses it to hoover up ash from the fire surround even though I've told her not to Hmm

Steam cleaner, can use it on anything, no chemicals, no smells, and really quick to go over the floors. Can pick one up for around £50 and most now convert to a handheld for oven tops and taps

Thanks for your replies.

Flaming, Giraffe, are your Mieles dry or a wet/ steam contraption?

Prosecco, I was under the impression that steam cleaners on laminate was a no no, in case it warps. But maybe that's overcautious or out of date?

I have seen other threads with steam cleaner recommendations, will check them out.

Thank you again.

Method lemongrass floor cleaner. You just use a dry mop with it (I use a microfibre one.) It's ££ but it's sometimes on offer. It smells gorgeous.

Had carpet Lino laminate and real wood floor, all were perfectly fine just that the real wood would need varnishing a little more often, but to be quite honest I think that was because we got a dog Hmm

Oh sorry- just a dry vacuum. I do use a steam cleaner on the floorboards and tiles but I'm not sure you can use on laminate.

Hoover, microfibre mop wrung out with plain hot water.
That's what I'd do
