Lakeland heated airer in bathroom?

Anyone do this? Am wondering about getting one but bathroom might be the only place it will fit. Would be plugged into socket in hallway.

I looked at those and ended up with a dehumidifier instead. You can put the dehumidifier anywhere, it does the whole house (got a Meaco one - the site advises you on what you need for the size of house). It's worked out better for me because it also deals with condensation and damp from bathroom and means I can hang the washing anywhere.

That's interesting as my house has damp problems. I'll investigate, thank you.

I've got this one:
www.meaco.com/dehumidifier/home-dehumidifiers/meaco-dd8l-junior-dehumidifier-multi-award-winning

It's amazing what comes out of it - drying a couple of loads of washing can fill the 8 litre water collection thing - which is 8l that would be spreading itself round my flat if I used a heated airer.

The unexpected benefit is that it slightly heats the air too.

Thanks, I seriously think a dehumidifier is what I actually need.

I got a heated Lakeland dryer in our old flat when DD was born, as nothing would dry in winter otherwise and we didn't have a dryer at the time. Still use it as a normal day-to-day drying rack as it takes up less space since it's 3 vertical tiers, then can plug it in in winter if need be. I found that it makes rooms more humid though

It will do because it's driving the moisture out of the clothes and into the air, faster than would happen without a heat source. So not good for an existing damp problem!
