Bar Keepers Friend is what you need. The marks are due to using bleach iirc. Works really well on tarnished chrome radiators too.

Go carefully - maybe try a damp magic sponge first. Barkeeper's Friend is abrasive and a lot of shower frame components are plastic - you could run the finish off. My guess is that the marks are discoloration caused by using products which cause bleach. Unfortunately, you can't get rid of them.

A magic sponge is abrasive too, that's how it works. I was recommended BKF by a kitchen company when my cooker developed 'rust spots.'

Bar Keepers Friend is a premium, powder-based household cleanser that's suitable for use all round the home. It has a non-bleach formula that can be used on stainless steel cookware; sinks; glass and ceramic hobs; kitchen worktops and porcelain and acrylic bathtubs. It's also great at removing rust and tarnishing, water stains and lime scale. The "secret" to BKF's cleaning power is oxalic acid. Discovered by chance in 1882, by a chemist who noticed that his pot was cleaner after cooking rhubarb, the original formula still out-performs many modern cleaning products

I know magic sponges are mildly abrasive Dame - I'm not stupid. The power cream is less abrasive than the Barkeeper's Friend powder too. I use that on my induction hob.

I'm not stupid

I didn't say you were, sorry you read it that way Smile
