Tea towels

Sorry this is a bit boring, but anyone who can help, please?
Where is the best place to buy tea towels that are good quality, actually dry things properly, and that the fluff doesn't come off all over everything?
All ours do exactly the opposite of what I've mentioned above, and it's so annoying.
I'm willing to pay a bit more for some good ones. Thank you.

TK Maxx or Homesense - flat cotton or linen ones are the best.

IMO these are the best. I don't use anything else. www.johnlewis.com/e-towel-professional-finish-tea-towel/p217747

They dry the dishes as soon as they touch them. No streaks. Dry themselves too very quickly.

Ah salt, my dad was telling us about those. He got some for himself from a shop near where he lives years ago, but the shop no longer sell them, and he wasn't sure where else to get them from.
Now we know, I'll get some for sure, and I'll get him a few more as well.
I think you may have saved both my husband and I from cursing every time we dry up (we don't have a dishwasher as there isn't room for one, so we do all washing up by hand, so need decent tea towels).
Thank you Smile

My favourites are the old huckaback towels (as used on roller-towels), but apart from charity-shops, I no longer know where to buy them.
Years ago, there was a thread here recommending them for DC's swimming towels, being light-weight linen/cotton and easier to dry and transport than traditional types.
