Has anyone worked out a way to reduce the amount of time it takes for dyson filters to dry? At the moment I wash them, take them outside and shake/flick them so excess water comes out and then leave them somwere sunny outside or inside of it is raining. I'm a bit sick of not being able to vaccine for one week a month while it drys.

We don't clean ours that often and my DH did the same as you. But could you blast it with a hairdryer?

I think your not supposed to expose them to heat :s

I might have to get spare filters and altinate them.

Grin depends on the model, you may not have one so don't panic yet. Try googling the model.

Wash in the sink, spin it in the washing machine. It'll be dry over night.

I bought a spare filter for the Dyson cordless.

£12 well spent IMO, though why they don't supply them as standard when they take 24 hours to dry, I don't know.
