cleaning products - what do you use/recommend

I'll start by saying I'm quite old! The cleaning regime in this house usually consists of DH old pants as dusters, Pledge if desperate, bathroom cleaner from Aldi, bleach for loo etc. Kitchen cleaner for sink and worktops, whatever is on offer in the supermarket. Recently though I have bought dispersible toilet wipes/antribacterial cleaning surface wipes and its all been a revelation! Any other products that you would recommend that really work. I've invested in Zoflora!

My single most important cleaning product is Fairy (and it must be Fairy) liquid - it cleans everything.
I use a solution of a squirt of fairy and a squirt of bleach in hot water in the sink to clean the entire kitchen - sides/cupboard doors, appliances etc.
I use the same solution in a mop bucket for floors.
Bathroom spray for bathroom (although what I use in the kitchen would work).
Pledge multi-surface for dusting etc.
Can use pledge on wall tiles/taps/non-contact services that are prone to splashes AFTER cleaning - not only does it add shine, but because there is a thin film on the surface after pledging, it will be easier to clean next time.
Glass cleaner - for glass of course, but can also be used to add shine to appliances and even the toilet seat (after cleaning of course).
Husbands old pants are fine if they do the job, but I like microfibre cloths.
I personally really don't like zoflora, but I love the orignal dettol (brown liquid one). Can be used for so many things.

Kitchen - Dettol spray surfaces daily and Cif for more stubborn grime on cooker and splashback, bleach on sink.
Wooden doors , window sills and dusty shelves etc Pledge spray plus Antiquewax occasionally and floors/skirting Pledge liquid cleaner.
Bathroom - own brand bathroom cleaner with occasional Flash with bleach, Dettol wipes for loo. Zoflora for a thorough disinfect all round occasionally.
Glass windows, mirrors, fittings, shower screen, tvs etc white vinegar.

Also have a steam cleaner used monthly.

Also keep diluted Zoflora in a spray bottle for a quick freshen up of bins and toilet.

I use little in the way of actual cleaning products as hot soapy water does most things, or even just hot water and an ecloth. I remember reading that washing up liquid isn't suitable for cleaning floors as it leaves a film which attracts dust - I use a multi surface cleaner in the mop bucket water or Zoflora. Stardrops is great cleaning product with lots of uses.

Anti-bacterial products are unnecessary and can be harmful because they kill harmless bacteria which is helpful to the immune system. I use cloths which go in a very hot wash rather than wipes.

Do have rubber gloves though. You can tackle anything with rubber gloves on and use really hot water without scalding your hands.

Fairy washing up liquid.
Cif Cream.
Water spray and an e cloth for glass
Harpic loo cleaner
Flash febreeze bathroom cleaner
Zorflora diluted in a spray bottle
Stardrops
Pledge

And a shed load of decent cloths.

Where does everyone get stardrops from? Haven't seen it for years!

Supermarkets sell it, pound shops, Wilko's, Home Bargains, etc. It's had a bit of a packaging makeover, but still looks pretty much the same.
