Help- anyone with a Rangemaster induction hob

We are extending and I have already ordered a rangemaster induction 110. Can't change now so please nothing too negative!

No gas where we live so have gone for induction but now worried that the 5 burner zones are quite small (2x14cm) (3x18cm). If we invest in decent pans does the heat conduct across the base so if a larger pan is put on the food on the edge still cooks?

I know if you put on smaller pan this may not work but can't find the answer for the larger than zone question. Also pan dimensions are for the top of the pan not the base but I like a 24cm sauté pan....

Also can anyone recommmend decent stainless steel saucepans /non stick frying pan?

Thank you

Hi, just seen your post, you may already have got yourself sorted out. Induction hobs heat the pan rather than the ring, so just need a pan with good heat conduction. You won't have any problems with larger pans, I regularly use a big 26cm sauté pan with no problems. Yes, food is a bit hotter in the middle than on the outside, but as long as you stir every so often it all cooks fine. I love my Rangemaster, induction is great, so much quicker and responsive than ordinary electric (we have no gas either). Lakeland have a good range of pans, or John Lewis. Don't go for the cheapest though, worth paying a bit more.
