Hi
Don't know if any of you have this issue but I cannot find a decent pair of oven gloves ! Bought so many now its ridiculous! Last pair were silicone ones made by Lekue I think and the fingers fell off this week !
Thanks xx

I have the same problem! I was thinking about getting that 'magic glove' by JML but I think putting on a glove every time I open the oven would annoy the hell out of me!

These
Oven Gloves
totally boring, :) but heavy duty, last forever , and protect the back of the hands too .

These Le Creuset ones are my favourite ever. They wash well and become quite soft so you can feel what you're doing.

With fabric oven gloves, they will only insulate when completely dry. So your hands must not be damp when you use them. Could this be why your previous gloves didn't seem to work so well?

i love these ones

I have double oven mitts with silicone hands and cotton middle and they're great

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 21/06/2017 17:19

Zeal steam stop oven mitts

I have those double Le Creuset ones in black and cream, they are brilliant and wash well too. I bought mine from an outlet shop but they're on Amazon.

Le Creuset here too.

crumpet · 21/06/2017 17:23

I have t used oven gloves for years. I use the oven square pot holders - much quicker and easier

torthecatlady · 21/06/2017 17:28

Forgot to mention that the Le Creuset ones are actually double sided, so no matter which way you pick them up they can be put on easily and they are very padded.

I don't own oven gloves.

Thanks all ! Especially for the video ! You wouldn't have thought good ones were so hard to come by ! I went for some more silicone ones in the end as I like the fact you can wipe clean but we will see . Will report back 😘

@GezFox
I'm looking for some silicone oven gloves. How did you get on?

stayhomeclub · 01/01/2018 19:19

I’ve got a Le Crueset one from TKMaxx, ‘‘tis fab

Jarstastic · 01/01/2018 22:22

I love my coolskin gauntlets, I have both lengths but prefer the longer ones.

AgathaMystery · 08/01/2018 00:53

Probs too late but we had the le creuset individual long ones with magnets so you can chuck them on the fridge door. They lasted 7 yrs to the day until they burnt through so not bad.

I have replaced with heavy duty Jamie Oliver ones (long arm pair) and have sewn very strong magnets in.
