Washing load once a day - when do you wash your clothes and fold ?

Hi

For those of you who do one washing load of clothes each day when do you put your machine on?

Do you put it on in the morning or after work or before you go to sleep?

I am trying to do a load a day and usually I put it on first thing in the morning, put it in the tumble dryer the fold when I can during the day.

Today I have just put the washing machine on after dinner and wonder whether it was better washing & drying the clothes at night so that they are ready fold first thing in the morning.

What do you do and why?

Any tips are grateful

Put it on in the morning, then put in tumble dryer. Should be finished by 3 pm so I fold and put away.
If you fold or hang up things while they are still warm out of the tumble dryer they don't need ironing.
I couldn't bear to have piles of washing everywhere.

On in the morning, out on the line by lunchtime, bring in late afternoon, iron and fold in the evening. I try to complete it in a day.

I try to put a wash on every night when I get back from work (not so organised in the mornings) then hang up on airer at some point before I go to bed, taking down the dry washing from night before and folding up at same time / any ironing put to that basket. Towels and underwear put in drier. Good habit to do one wash a day!

I try to have a wash in the machine ready to go, so I can put it on in the morning. Then I hang it up once it's done (no tumble dryer), and put the next one on. Depending on the size of the loads, I can sometimes do 3 in 1 day.
I try not to do washing at night though.

I wouldn't put washing machines or tumble driers on when I'm asleep. They're the two worst appliances for causing fires, in fact washing machines cause even more fires than tumble driers. Having a smoke alarm doesn't prevent a fire from burning a good chunk of your house down before the fire brigade arrive and tackle the fire, it just means you have a better chance of getting yourself and your family out of the house.
