Cleaning leather sofas

Hello. We got new leather sofas this year and I promised myslef I would look after them but haven't. What can I use to give them a clean? I have a baby so it is general baby dirt, dribble, food thrown from the highchair etc! Lol. They are in real need of a clean. I used to use babywipes on my old cream leather sofa, but these were second hand so I wasn't so worried. Is it ok to use babywipes on these? They are brown. Please share any tips!

Leather Balsam from Renapur is what you need. It does a fantastic job on our sofas leaves them looking brand new.

We use baby wipes on ours but similar to your old one it's 12 years old now and has seen 3 children through from babies to childhood so is somewhat knackered. If I had a new leather sofa I'd use some kind of leather cleaner or specialist wipes for the 1st few years at least.

I just flick over with a damp cloth, and then dry or sometime I buy a pack of leather wipes, or the leather spray from Home Bargains....use that with a microfibre type cloth

i have an elderly chesterfield that belongs mainly to the dog, and a big leather chair/mini sofa effort that I sit in with the cat.

Pure soap powder (Dreft or the like) in tepid water is very good for cleaning large areas of grub gently.

And Wheeler's Leather Balm has given my 20 year old sofa a new lease of life.
