Cleaning sick

Hello everyone.

I have never had to clean sick up. Hence, I wouldn't know where to start with cleaning it. Can you tell me how to clean it up from just being thrown up? I am talking about adult sick, not baby milk sick. I need a step by step guide!!!

Thanks

ok this is a pet peeve of mine - sick is not a noun (used in your context) it is vomit. or throwup

get a papertowel, clear up the solid bits
get a bucket of hotwater with a splash of cleaner in it ( bleech or washing up or flash, that sort of stuff) and with a rag give it a good scrub

(have you never had to clean things like this up before?!!)
not a nice job !

Oh lord I hope the emetophobes don't seee this...

Actually I am an emetophobe. That is why I am asking now so that I know exactly what to do when I have to face it. Totally scared already, but I know that its going to happen, my child is going to be sick. I am just trying to sort out in my head how to deal with the problem so that I have everything in my "sick tub" to hand in readiness to clean up. Horrible thing.

you might end up with a very healthy kid! my 5 year old has only been sick ( with vomit I mean) once and her father cleaned that up, and younger sister has only been sick one as well, she is too
it might not happen.........(hope not!)
