Good quality clothes debobbler?

I've had two and both have died within minutes of use. They were fairly cheap though. Any recommendations for a decent bobble remover? I have so many lovely jumpers desperate for restoration!!

I've never found one that works, sadly.

a disposable razor works well .

Yep, I've just shaved a couple of tops too, worked a treat.

Ooh I didn't know you could do that! Would it work even on a chunky jumper?

John Lewis do a de-fuzzer for about £7.99. It works really well - I've had mine for ages and use it often. It eats up quite big bobbles too!

I have a lot of flannelette bedding with bobbles, I have been wondering if a beard/bikini trimmer might do the job.

Yes JL debobbler is great. By Phillips I think. Very satisfying to hear them being sliced off.

I'm fairly new to shaving my knitwear, having only recently read about it on here!

I've only done a couple of light wool mix tops, but can't see why it wouldn't work on a chunky knit. I'd give it a go as I can't see it hurting.

I have a really cheap but effective one which is like a small brown plastic comb with stuff a bit like sandpaper (but not as rough) instead of teeth. It was about £2 in a hardware shop but google cashmere comb or fabric comb and you'll see loads similar.
