Mice between floors

Has anyone ever had mice between their floors? Can hear scuttling overhead but not sure what can be done about it

I'm numping this because I have the same problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions what to do? Or should we just live with it so long as there is no evidence that they get into any rooms?

Doh! I swear my fingers are getting fatter every day just like the rest of me!

Thanks for bumping Flamingale. Still trying to arrange someone to come and have a look. Haven't heard any scratching since but we had the same issue last year sparingly, have only ever seen one but managed to catch it.
