What do you store in a high-up kitchen cupboard?!

I have a really high-up kitchen cupboard above my built-in eye-level oven and and microwave. Basically if you imagine a cupboard above a full size fridge you have the picture of what I mean.

I am only 5'3" and I can't easily reach the cupboard so it's no good for anything frequently used. Until now I've used it for tea towels as I could just about reach the edge to get them out and it seemed the less dangerous option because it's not really going to hurt anyone if a pile of towels accidentally fall out! However I've just taken them out and put them elsewhere as they were getting so messy and it wasn't an economical use of space!

DH can reach it more easily so anything we put in there I can always get him to take in and out.

What do you keep in high-up cupboards?!

I'm 5'4" and I have a folding step that I use to access higher cupboards. I just put things that don't get used very often in them.

Empty tins, 'naice' mugs and cups, my chocolate so the DC cannot find it......

I have a cupboard above my full height fridge. There is even a cupbard below it, so the cupboard on top is super duper high, and I'm shorter than you. I keep things like cool box, thermos flasks, BBQ stuff in it. Seasonal stuff, I suppose.

Picnic cool bag, baking tins - muffin tray and loaf tin. That's it!

Things we rarely use - picnic/camping stuff, huge serving dishes for the once or twice a year we have 12 people round for dinner...

cookie cutters, things for baking which we don't use often such as lamb shaped cake tin and should probably throw away as we have never used them and probably never will.

There are lots more things as well but I don't even know what they are anymore...

I have two of these cupboards and in one I keep plastic baskets with handles on the end so I can reach them on tip toes (I'm 5'6"). I keep medicines here - first aid, pain/cold/tummy and asthma related stuff.

In the other I keep stuff we don't use often - slow cooker, specialist baking supplies and utility wares - light bulbs etc.

Stuff we don't use very often - picnic flasks, plastic plates; the blender and food mixer; two fondues; some Chinese serving bowls which are DH's but I'm not allowed to get rid of Hmm; cool bags....
I am 5ft6, but I have made it the teens' job to reach things for me, as they are 6ft & 6ft 3...

I have cupboards going up to the ceiling, which is 11' high. One cupboard has vases, one has baking tins, icing equipment, cooling racks etc & the last has outsize seasonal dishes, big flasks and the fondue set (wedding present, used twice a year on request by children). We have a ladder in the coat/cleaning cupboard which we keep for this purpose. It isn't used outside or by decorators to keep it pristine.

I'm small and also have a fold up step stool for on top of cupboards. We store thebus for birthday parties such a as candles paper plates, etc on top of the fridge which is our equivalent of a high cupboard.

Like others I have a small stepladder from Ikea to reach the high shelves. This house seems to have been built for giants so I now have a stepladder downstairs and a stool upstairs for reaching things. The stepladder also happens to double as a stool for the bit of our kitchen that we think was supposed to house our fridge and freezer, but also works as a breakfast bar.
In the top shelves we have faincy glasses, a coffee percolator and cups that we got as a moving in gift from our mortgage company and baking stuff.

Medication.
Seasonal stuff - Christmas dishes Easter decorations, preserving pan.
Random rarely used stuff - fondue set, creme brûlée kit, giant soup tureen, salmon poacher.
Spares - ten jars of jam, five jars of pickled pears, back up bottles of spirits.
Alcohol generally.
Birthday cake supplies.
And, currently, all the Easter eggs to make it harder to eat them before Sunday.

I have a step ladder permanently in the kitchen. I use the stuff in the high shelves every day.
