gets delivered tommorrow, fitter comes the next day.apparently it'll take about 5 days to fit(working days that is,fitter won't work sat or sundays)
am totally dreading the mess (im a total clean freak and hate being disorganised)just wondering what the hell to do with everything from my kitchen cupboards, really don't want them lying about the living room.anyone have any tips on what to leave handy, where to keep things e.t.c?
wish i could just move out for a week-have a 3 year old who's never out of the kitchen, don't know what i'm going to do for meals during the day while fitters still here.aaaaaaaaaaargh,i'm tearing my hair out already!

then next week i'm getting a new bathroom!!!!
tips/advice needed there too!

we've a b&q kitchen, Ok there were a few cock ups but they started and finished when they said and also have done a very good job but we know we were lucky with the fitter they sent to us.

I would decamp your microwave, toaster and kettle - we also used a foreman grill to an area in the dinning room and use paper cups, plates and cutlery - very liberating!! Buy things that can be done in the microwave - I even managed to cook spaghetti when needed in the microwave. and think to yourself constantly - it will all be worth it.

We grabbed an old cupboard as it was taken off the wall and used that on the floor in the corner of the dinning room with what food we could use in it and then put everything else into cardboard boxes in another room.

Celia2 - our kitchen was build by a carpenter so we could get exactly what we wanted and then fitted put with Haefele (sp?) baskets and stuff - think they also supply the kitchen companies. We intend to stay a long time here, so although this was more expensive than a b&q it was less than the v. expensive companies like Mark Wilkinson/smallbone and the european ones.
