Do I need to get the one with castor wheels and is it a hazard with little children around?
Also does anyone know if there is a model which can be hung up behind a door?
Not sure which one to get....
Advice appreciated.

You need something heavy over it - I use a fleecy blanket. A sheet is often too thin to really trap the heat. Duvet covers also work well.

I like mine, but it is expensive to run so I try to have it on for a couple of hours with the blanket over and then remove the blanket and let things air dry.

I bought the specific cover for it which does make a massive difference - without that on it doesn't get all that hot but with the cover it is like a sauna inside!

I'm going to get a cover for mine too.

I do pants/vests/socks/thin or fleece things on bottom
T shirts and tops, lighter knots in middle.
Heavier jumpers on top, maybe over 2/3 rungs.

Jeans do well upside down with one leg each side of the support/clip in the centre.

I have an old jersey duvet cover which makes a good cover but I might get a proper one.

Mine lives in our hall. I leave the window on locked but with vent (so open a crack!) & door to rest of house shut. No issues with condensation as there's air movement in there.

I love mine, wouldn't be without it.

Pretty much on constantly.

I throw a sheet over it to speed up drying, especially at this time of year (mines in conservatory). Considered getting the proper cover for it but the reviews put me off - re the damp smell?

I was going to buy one of these but after loads of research I actually decided on a spin dryer, I thought my washing machine spun well at 1200 but this gets out loads of water some stuff is pretty much dry and ready to go everything else needs 30 minutes on the radiators and I don't need to worry about condensation either.

i totally love mine! family of 5 and we've never felt the need to buy a tumble dryer...i've had the lakeland one for about 5 years.
