Whole bottle of fabric conditioner soiled over the carpet :(

What do I do?! Blue fabric conditioner wobbled off the machine, cracked the lid and has gone everywhere. I've blotted as much as I can with towels but there's a huge wet blue mark...

Oh have I been there.

It happened to me with a hard floor and a floor rug, to be honest, I had to bin the rug as the smell is just so pungent.

If that is not an option, only thing I can suggest is a carpet washer (hiring a rug doctor or similar).
