That's it really...
Should they electric blanket go under the topper? Will it still heat up under an electric blanket?

Mine is under, helps keep it flatter (it is fitted anyway) and cleaner.

Although I may have misunderstood, mines under a mattress protector topper so not very thick, not under an actual thin mattress type thing. Grinsorry

I have heard that using both a (foam) mattress topper and an electric blanket is dangerous as there's the risk of overheating and fire. Read the instructions, please.

I do not think a heated blanket should be used with a mattress topper. Please check this out with retailers and manufacturers before you do it.

It's not a memory foam topper and there are no instructions (given it from a friend although it's not old). The make is Homefront,I can't find an online manual though.

Electric blankets should just go under a sheet.

Mine is on top of the mattress topper and under a sheet. I switch it off before I go to sleep. Didn't know it was risky.

Ours was under the topper last winter and between the topper and the sheet this winter. This winter the bed is noticeably warmer but i can feel the grooves of the electric blanket through the sheet so sleep deprived I don't care tho
