Refilling bleach?

This occurred to me because of a thread in Chat about Value ranges.

The main problem with value thin bleach is that it just pours straight out and doesn't have a squirting dispenser top. Would it be safe to put thin bleach into an empty standard bleach bottle so that it had the dispenser top?

I buy bleach from aldi/lidl/home bargains, it's about fifty pence for a bottle and has a squirty top like domestos. Is supermarket value bleach much cheaper???

I would not do it to be honest as on my first aid course the course leader was telling us that they get calls for emergency assistance from people who have decanted bleach into other containers and it has gone wrong. Just buy the thick bleach it is not worth risking your health.

Bleach is fine as long as it is in a bottle that is obviously bleach to avoid any confusion. One bleach poured into another bleach bottle would be fine, I regularly collect ours up and decant the almost empty ones into the partly used ones, we have 4 on the go in various rooms so just topping up the used ones.

I don't buy thin bleach as it is a false economy, use far less of the thick stuff and it isn't expensive, supermarket thick bleach is fine.

Thin bleach is stronger than thick, but not so easy to use.
