New pillows?

Mine are old and flat.

Any recommendations for new ones that hold their shape?

I've just ordered Healthbeds cooltex latex pillows, they are supposed to be made the same as the old style Dunlopillo latex ones, which my mum had years ago and were fantastic. The new Dunlopiilo aren't supposed to be as good so I was told to try these.

They are expensive, but by the time you've replaced cheaper pillows every year or so I think they'll soon pay for themselves.

fenneltea Can you let me know how similar they are too the old style Dunlopillo latex ones? Those are my favorite (I can't sleep on anything else tbh), and would really like them replaced as they are old (almost 10 years!)

Of course oats, according to the reviews they use the proper talalay latex that dunlopillo used to use. I've ordered the high profile ones which are supposed to be the nearest to the Dunlopillo, so I'm keping my fingers firmly crossed!
I only ordered them today, so they should arrive 28th - 31st.

We've got some super microfibre homescapes pillows for our double bed. They are really nice quality pillows and support your head and neck nicely.

Quick update for Oats, the Healthbeds pillows arrived yesterday and I had a lovely nights sleep on my new pillow. I didn't find it too high at all, it is as springy as I remember the Dunlopiilo's so it's a thumb's up from me.

I'm also looking for a Dunlopillo alternative due to recent poor reviews. Can anyone tell me if the 'bobbly' pillow surface is comfortable through a pillowcase. It's the only thing putting me off buying one and I don't want to make an expensive mistake.

Tbh I'd rather buy cheaply and have new pillows every year.

Just got a firm support 2 pack for £6 for me and a 4 pack medium for £10 for the kids both currently half price from tesco.

DH is picky about pillows and I've got him a few more expensive ones over the years and they seem to go flat just as quickly as the cheap ones although last year I got him a feather one with a fibre insert on one side which has lasted and washed reasonably well.

I've just extra-stuffed my sofa fibre seat cushions with my old pillows .

Sorry I meant the bobbly surface of the cooltex pillow. Oh well I've ordered it now so fingers crossed it'll be ok

chasing I guess I feel a bit wasteful chucking out old pillows regularly, I've currently got four cheap ones that need to go but I feel guilty and keep trying them again. My poor neck can take no more so I'm going to invest.

It's arrived and is lovely but still getting an aching neck, I think it must be all the looking down at my phone on Mumsnet all day . I think this is a lovely pillow, the bobbles just disappear to nothing when you press them, thanks for the recommendation fenneltea

Bought these from IKEA about 3 months ago and they are lovely. I'm am completely done with non feather cheapy pillows; they always go pancake flat within a few nights.

These always plump up again and are so comfy.

Ikea ones do seem to be good. DH has a curvy Ikea memory foam one which is good. I do too but it's on the pile with the other rejects
