Easy to clean dish rack/drainer

I've got no draining board and currently have a two tier stainless steel draining rack with stainless steel tray. In a very hard water area and doing several loads of dishes a day (we have no dishwasher nor space for even a countertop one, as much as I'd love one), I find it gets very grimy very easily and it's a pain cleaning all the nooks and crannies of the metal rack, plus the tray never looks clean even if I scrub it.

Have been searching for something easier to clean. Ideally two tier as well - it definitely needs to hold A LOT at a time or it would do my head in, think glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, a pan or two plus cutlery, in one wash load.

Ideally it would also be not too modern looking as it's a cottage with everything else being quite traditional. In saying that, the closest I found so far is the extendable Joseph Joseph one for being easy to clean but it's not two tier and is definitely modern.

Any suggestions?

Any good? It cleans up nicely with washing up liquid and holds a huge amount. I think how easy it is to clean would depend on the size of your sink.

We have a stainless steel rack but underneath one of those big ikea chopping board. I got so fed up with the big pool of hard water in the collection tray. The wood is good because it absorbs the puddle and looks nice. Flip it upside down every now and then do it doesn't warp. IKEA also do a nice wooden drying rack that Durante show water marks. They are so cheap you can chuck/burn it and get a new one each year.

Barefoot, thanks but that one is too high for the space I have

The Joseph Joseph. Small, compact and easily cleaned with a brush and white vinegar. I also live in a hard water area and I love it.

Gaspard, which one? I was eyeing up the Extend one but not convinced it would have the capacity I need.

That's the one I have and the extendable bit is very useful. But then I have a dishwasher so I'd suggest actually looking at one in a shop to see if it'll meet your needs. If not practical, you could order online and return it if it's not what you're looking for. Happy shopping!

Sorry, I see you'd already looked at the Joseph Joseph and I agree that it's definitely modern looking. Wish I could be more helpful.
