Afternoon All
The course seemed to go well though my brain had turned to semolina. Will read the file this week.
The hunt for DS's shoes was fruitless. Tesco's range was size 4-9 and then 12-3 DS needs 11...grrrh. Good news is I have a pair stowed in his wardrobe. They'll do till his 35 quid a time Clarks give out
Got home to find our lovely council had not taken the boxes of recyclable waste just left it so it blew everywere. managed to condense it to 2/3rds of 1 green bin but I phoned to complain. I'm doing what they want aren't I? They did say to make more use of the grey (straight to landfill) bin
So done this afternoon
Tidy outside gates
Organise green bin
Zest and juice 14 oranges for freezing
Tidy up (messy enough but DDS also 'helped')
Load and rum WM
Hang up to dry
Hang up yesterday's washing to dry
Load and run TD (DH assumes towels are self cleaning and drying
Clean sticky orange fingerprints off front room window
Vac downstairs
'Shine' sink
You've all been so busy.
Mega impresive EHM
Luda I sorted out our filing last summer and had a large washing basket of waste paper to shred. DH's filing system is pile it on kitchen table, when it slips off, put into carrier and hang in cellar head. Repeat! 5 bags of paper, mostly total rubbish. And I agree re insurance, DH has 3 or 4 pension plans and they send through reams of paper for a laugh. I'm sure one of them is 'Sandra in accounts has swapped chicken sandwich to prawn pasta for lunches. This is how it will affect your policy' as they costantly send A4 sized bundles.
Shouldbe my tip for the paperwork is to refine the sorting as you go. I start with a 'stuff to keep' and 'stuff to chuck' piles, then 'his' 'mine' 'ds' ''house' then sort each pile into the relevant areas (eg 'house' becomes 'bills' and 'insurance'). It make it easir to tackle in smaller chunks. I also advise getting a filing box or expanding file so you can keep it all in separate sorted areas, makes it easier to update.
Righgt. off to do DS's tea, have fun....byyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeee for now
